Maine Lumberjacks 71
6 For eating we had plenty
Of those grand and glorious beans, Lots of ham behind the dam, On old Penobscot stream.
7 Our boss he was a good fellow,
Our cook was a cockereen; We never forget the boys We left in old Penobscot stream.
8 Now the days are all gone past,
It seems but all a dream. We'll never forget the friends We left in old Penobscot stream. |
